This was a recent Poster Posse project based apon, music and gig posters. I wanted to create somehting conceptual based apon one of my favourite bands, Tame Impala. I took the song 'Apocalyspe Dreams' as a visual metaphor with a kind of harmony in nature after mankind is extinct, possibly after a great war (hence the robotic hand). I find that a powerful symbol as man's hand, has the power to create such beauty yet destroy it too, and I sometimes wonder if our own A.I creations would live long after us. I used Japanese artist Hiroshige and French painter Henri Rousseau as a visual influence, Rousseau imagined many of his jungle landscape scenes so I felt that relevant as the 'dream' part of this piece.
